Modeling Life is the sister site to Resampling Statistics, built around the book Modeling Life: The Mathematics of Biological Systems (Springer, 2017) by Alan Garfinkel, Jane Shevtsov, and Yina Guo. It's a UCLA Life Science course site featuring video lectures, interactive simulations, and course material on how mathematical and computational modeling illuminate biological systems — from cell dynamics to ecosystems.

While this site focuses on resampling and statistical inference, Modeling Life covers the broader mathematical toolkit — differential equations, dynamical systems, and simulation — used to understand how living systems behave.
